This article briefly presents the theoretical and methodological framework used to analyze the texts derived from this long complicated drafting and approval process (cf. Morales, 2015). Based on a lexicometric analysis (using Lexico3 and Coocs) and the specificities index, words whose use varied in different parts of the corpus were identified. A study of contexts revealed three different types of amendments: those due to political negotiations (e.g. nació), those which aimed to bring the text in line with linguistic criteria (e.g. entitats locals), and those which aimed to bring the text in line with legal criteria (e.g. en tot cas). Author Biography Albert Morales Moreno, Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia Llicenciat i màster en Traducció i Interpretació (2005), i màster i doctor en Ciències del Llenguatge i Lingüística Aplicada (2015) per la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Des de 2010 imparteix classes de llengua i literatura catalanes -i, des de 2011, també d'espanyol- a la Università Ca' Foscari Venezia (Itàlia). A més, és professor col·laborador de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, investigador extern del grup IULATERM (UPF) i col·laborador de l'Observatori de Neologia. Ha fet estades acadèmiques a la Université Jean Moulin (Lió 3), Universitat de Southampton, Universitat de Pàdua i Universitat de Laval (Quebec).Du a terme recerques relacionades amb la didàctica de la llengua i la lingüística de corpus sobre discurs institucional, discurs legislatiu, lexicologia, lexicometria, terminologia i neologia. Ha publicat articles i ressenyes, entre d'altres, a Catalan Review, Debate Terminológico, Rassegna Iberistica, Revista de Llengua i Dret i Rivista Italiana di Studi Catalani.
