Redacció legislativa i terminologia: els casos de "nació", "entitats locals" i "en tot cas" durant el procés de redacció i aprovació de l’Estatut d'autonomia de Catalunya de 2006 Authors Albert Morales Moreno Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia Keywords: lexicometrics, discourse analysis, terminology, legislative discourse Abstract Legislative drafting and terminology: the cases of nació, entitats locals and en tot cas during the process of drafting and approving the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia of 2006 In 2006, a new Statute of Autonomy came into force in Catalonia. This article briefly presents the theoretical and methodological framework used to analyze the texts derived from this long complicated drafting and approval process (cf. Morales, 2015). Based on a lexicometric analysis (using Lexico3 and Coocs) and the specificities index, words whose use varied in different parts of the corpus were identified. A study of contexts revealed three different types of amendments: those due to political negotiations (e.g. nació), those which aimed to bring the text in line with linguistic criteria (e.g. entitats locals), and those which aimed to bring the text in line with legal criteria (e.g. en tot cas).
