Abstract

The paper describes the process of adding a French version to a lexical resource that describes legal terminology. The resource, called JuriDiCo, is based on the theory of Frame Semantics as well as on the methodology developed by FrameNet lexicographers. We test if the criteria proposed in previous work for semiautomatically assigning the equivalents of English and Portuguese terms apply to other language pairs (French-English and French-Portuguese).
