Tools for online terminology searching Authors Xavier Albons Universitat de Barcelona Àngels Egea Universitat de Barcelona Keywords: search engines, Web browsers, dictionaries, terminology tools, terminology Abstract The article describes the different computer resources developed by the University of Barcelona Language Services to facilitate online searches for terms: the incorporation of terminology in spell check tools, an application that provides all users with access to terminology queries solved by Language Services, a Google custom search engine for specific glossaries and collections and tools that can speed up queries in general resources. Des del 2001 treballa com a tècnic lingüístic dels Serveis Lingüístics de la Universitat de Barcelona (UB), on s'ha especialitzat en tasques d'assessorament relacionades amb les tecnologies de la informació i la comunicació, i en el desenvolupament i la implementació d'eines per a facilitar aquestes tasques. Àngels Egea, Universitat de Barcelona Llicenciada en Filologia Catalana per la Universitat de Barcelona i màster en Lingüística Computacional. Des de l'any 1995 és responsable de terminologia dels Serveis Lingüístics de la UB. Anteriorment ha treballat en el projecte del Corpus Informatitzat de la Llengua Catalana de l'Institut d'Estudis Catalans i en l'actualització del diccionari normatiu.
