Abstract

Before researching into this sausage manufacturing company, founded in 1926 in Olot, an accurate contextualization of the political, economic and social circumstances of the Garrotxa region was carried out. The company quickly excelled in the manufacturing of its products thanks to several production and commercial strategies, enabling its partners to overcome the difficulties entailed by the Franco dictatorship. It became one of the first sausage factories in Olot to electrify its cooling, handling and drying procedures.
