In this paper we present the treatment received by suffixes whose use entails pragmatic connotations in different Catalan lexicographical works, in order to determine how these appreciative values are applied. Author Biography Martí Freixas Cardona, Universitat Pompeu Fabra Martí Freixas és graduat en Traducció i Ciències del Llenguatge (2016) i màster en Estudis del Discurs: Comunicació, Societat i Aprenentatge (2017) per la Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), on actualment cursa el programa de doctorat en Traducció i Ciències del Llenguatge, amb una tesi centrada en la sufixació apreciativa en català. Les seves línies d'interès principals són la neologia, la lexicografia i la morfopragmàtica, i ha impartit assignatures de terminologia i ús comparat catalàespanyol al Departament de Traducció i Ciències del Llenguatge de la UPF.
