Abstract

This proposal explores the presence of sources of non-academic origin in web pages and academic studies. Specifically, it seeks to collect and to put in order the main sources with presence on the Internet which have originated from this approach, and to see if these sources have been used in scientific articles in the field of communication since 2010. It compiles specialized sources that, with the necessary caution, could make contributions to the approach and identification of the object of study, as well as a group of investigations of the sector that could contribute to the advance of knowledge. Reports are used from some of the sources compiled but, above all, information provided by other organizations is used to approach the subject of the selected publications.
