Polisemia regular y representación lexicográfica: los nombres vocativos en español Authors Andreína Adelstein Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento Marina Berri Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento Victoria Boschiroli Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento Keywords: regular polysemy, lexicography, locative nouns, generative lexicon, terminography Abstract Regular Polysemy and Lexical Representation: Locative Names in SpanishThis paper examines the semantic and syntactic behaviour of terms that present regular polysemy between a locative meaning and other non-locative meanings from the standpoint of generative lexicon. They are nouns which present an alternation between the senses of 'territory' and 'political or administrative organisation' and which also have an additional sense of 'period of government'. We propose lexical-conceptual paradigms (LCP) to explain the various patterns of polysemy. We also analyse the representation of these alternations in three general language dictionaries.
