These patterns are a formalization of the elements of the definition and present advantages to automate the process of definition writing. In this article we present the study of ceramic terminology based on a corpus with the objective of creating patterns. Author Biographies Esperanza Valero Doménech, Universitat Jaume I Esperanza Valero és llicenciada en Traducció i Interpretació per la Universitat Jaume I i doctora en Traducció i Societat del Coneixement per la mateixa universitat (2014). Ha tingut una beca predoctoral per fer la tesi doctoral, l’objectiu de la qual era desenvolupar una metodologia per semiautomatitzar l’elaboració de definicions. La seva recerca se centra en l’àrea de la terminologia, les definicions i les ontologies. Amparo Alcina Caudet, Universitat Jaume I Amparo Alcina és catedràtica d’universitat en Traducció i Interpretació de la Universitat Jaume I, on imparteix docència de Terminologia i Tecnologies de la Traducció.
