Abstract

Distributor own brands (DOB), also known as white brands, have
had a remarkable irruption in the dairy industry in the 2006-2009 period. This has had certain effects on themarket share in terms of volume and value in themain sectors of the industry, as opposed tomanufacturer brands (MB). Thematerials used are based on the data published in Alimarket and Nielsen studies aboutmarket share andmoving annual total (MAT) in the years analysed.
