Salomón Alco(n)stantín(í) y su comentario ספר מגלה עמוקות. Una presentación Authors Gregorio del Olmo Lete Abstract Salomón Alco(n)stantín(í) and his commentary .תוקומע הלגמ רפס A presentation. This article aims to draw the attention of scholars of the Judeo-Spanish world of the Middle Ages to an unpublished work that has gone unnoticed in books on the periods history and literature. With that in mind, it seems appropriate to offer the text and a translation of the works prologue as an optimal introduction to the full edition of the work. In the prologue, the author briefly presents the three hermeneutical approaches taken to interpreting the Bible at that time, namely the cabalistic, philosophical and astrological approaches, and indicates his personal preference for the last of the three. In the main body of the work, he applies the philosophical and astrological approaches to a number of pericopes from Genesis and the other books of the Pentateuch.
