La normalització internacional en geologia Authors Salvador Reguant i Serra Abstract Brief tour of the main sources of normalisation of geological terminology, that reviews several linguistic traditions, some reference dictionaries and the initiatives of several international commissions (mineralogy, petrology and paleontology). Its second part focuses on International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS), that works on normalisation of stratigraphy terms, by means of the International Stratigrafic Guide (ISG), updated at 1994.
