Crisis and inequalities in Greece: putting women in the picture

Abstract

The crisis in Greece is often explained only by macroeconomic data. This paper shows other issues which are hidden around unemployment, poverty and the rise of neo-nazis. With these reflections I explain how the situation of women in Greece shows a picture of situations that were considered outdated: the return of women at home, maintenance and aggravation of male chauvinistic models and contempt for feminist demands.
