Abstract The article analyses fifteen journalistic entrepreneurship initiatives, all them characterised by a clear commitment to quality, diversity and innovation. On the basis of a review of theoretical literature on the entrepreneurial field and on the role of educational institutions as entrepreneurship stimuli, this article explores sustainable journalistic formulas that have emerged in a scenario of economic crisis. The qualitative analysis aims to provide an accurate rendering of the characteristics of these projects, including contents, presentation, and economic aspects like their business model or corporate structure.
