Caracterització genètica de la varietat picapoll de diferents orígens mitjançant marcadors microsatèl·lits Authors Anna Puig Pujol Lluís Giralt i Vidal Carme Domingo i Gustems Abstract Ceps representatius de la varietat picapoll de diferents edats de plantació han estat escollits en diverses zones vitivinícoles de Catalunya i caracteritzats genèticament per determinar-ne la possible diversitat i la relació amb l'autòctona del Bages (zona d'Artés) i la piquepoul d'origen francès. Així mateix, se n'ha establert la proximitat genètica amb la varietat clairette. Els resultats obtinguts a través de l'anàlisi mitjançant sis marcadors moleculars microsatèl·lits han determinat que els picapolls recollits en vinyes properes als originals d'Artés corresponen al picapoll autòcton del Bages, i també ho és una vinya plantada a Porrera (Priorat); no ho són, d'altra banda, d'altres d'identificats amb el mateix nom cultivats a les DO Penedès o Alella. S'ha determinat una similitud genètica molt propera entre els picapolls d'Artés i la varietat francesa clairette. En canvi, no hi ha cap tipus de proximitat entre les varietats piquepoul i picapoll.
