Abstract

The symposium Estètica gustatòria: reptes i realitats (Gustatory Aesthetics: Challenges and Realities) was held on Wednesday, November 25, 2016 and it presented a dozen of contributions to this new and highly undisciplined (following Jacques Rancière’s term) branch of philosophy. The contributions collated on these pages were made by members of a workgroup called eBullició, linked to the Department of Philosophy of the UAB and dealing with education (Bachelor and Master degrees), research and publication on aesthetics focused on the non-metaphoric use of taste and on gastronomic pratices.
