Geomorphology in Catalonia: Current situation and future perspectives

Abstract

We analyze the evolution of geomorphology in Catalonia during the last years, making a critical assessment of its current state. We examine the main topics studied by researchers, as well as the new opportunities opened by new techniques and methodologies. Finally, based on these considerations, we discuss about the weaknesses and strengths that geomorphology will have to face over the forthcoming years.
