Abstract

The issue of Spain’s relationship with Europe has always been a problem, discussed in the Age of Enlightenment («Controversy on Spanish Science»), in the 19th century («Second Controversy about Spanish Science») and in the 20th century, with the controversy between Unamuno and Ortega.
