How to Teach Philosophy Authors Ambròs Domingo Belando Keywords: didactics of philosophy, understanding, secondary school, Kant Abstract First, in this paper I give some reasons to maintain the presence of the philosophy in secondary schools –against some dominant voices that point to an opposite direction. In particular, I maintain the presence in secondary schools of a type of philosophy that aims at understanding philosophical problems. Second, I insist on the importance of understanding the philosophical problems in order to introduce different philosophical positions concerning each problem. In fact, I suggest that this strategy is central when explaining philosophical contents. Finally, I illustrate my proposal with the Kantian pure intuition of time, although I also note that the strategy I suggest can be extrapolated to virtually any philosophical question. Keywords: didactics of philosophy, understanding, secondary school, Kant.
