Abstract

During the elaboration process of a map, it is necessary to consider the elements which can modify the final result: the aim of the map, the scale, the knowledge of the reality and the used cartographic categories. We have worked on The First Carlist War (1833-1840), from which we have examined previous maps and after, we have build two maps, at a different scale, considering the previously established methodology.
