Primary language of use in social networks among initially bilingual children: a study of intervening factors

Abstract

This article shows the results of a study on the social networks that form in a primary school environment. Particular emphasis is placed on the personal networks of children who are initially bilingual. This research is based on a detailed analysis of the sociolinguistic factors involved in the linguistic behaviour of this group of students.
