Treballs de Sociolingüística Catalana has an impact factor of 10 (ICDS) in MIAR (Matriu d'Informació de l'Avaluació de Revistes), is indexed in the JCR (ESCI, WoS) and has received maximum evaluation by the CARHUS system, used to classify Social Science and Humanities journals, and the Sello de Calidad FECYT. It is also indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals, Periodicals Index Online, Linguist list, RACO, Latindex and Dialnet.

i s'indexa en diferents bases de dades, entre les que destaca JCR (ESCI, WoS), la màxima avaluació en el sistema CARHUS, i ha obtingut el Segell de Qualitat FECYT de reconoixement de la qualitat editorial i científica.

Journals of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans (IEC) archived in the Catalan Scientific Hemeroteca use as descriptors the 15 recommended properties of the Dublin Core Metadata Element Set, a shorter version of ISO 15836 (2009).
