El Perquè de la defensa de les varietats de CEP autòctones, el cas de Catalunya Authors Josep Maria Puiggròs i Jové Abstract Històricament veiem que des de l'antic Egipte hi ha hagut interès a tipificar les produccions de vins de cada lloc segons la varietat de raïm de què estan fets, a part de l'entorn geogràfic i la forma d'elaboració. El repàs històric de la documentació que hem trobat sobre Catalunya ens ha permès seguir les primeres petjades de les nostres varietats, que al llarg dels segles han donat personalitat als nostres vins. Ara ens trobem en un nou període en què s'entén que recuperar i utilitzar de la millor manera aquest patrimoni també representa una oportunitat comercial per als nostres vins.
