The life of Philosophy in the Secondary Education Authors Adrian Bueno Junquero UNED Keywords: philosophy, possibility, philosophical tradition, horizon, teaching Abstract To protect philosophy is a duty with the past due to the fact that we had the opportunity to study the discipline. The constant threat of making disappear philosophy from our classrooms is a violent act against reason and learning. The present writing discusses this problem and identifies two constitutive moments of philosophizing as an object of teaching: the fact of providing knowledge about the philosophical problems in history and the character that determines new possibilities –to make possible the possibility itself–, as well as the protection of the importance of not neglecting the discipline in the background of the student learning. Keywords: philosophy, possibility, philosophical tradition, horizon, teaching.
