Some visions about the city in the movies

Abstract

A great amount of books about film locations have been published during the last few years. But it is not so frequent to find a book like the one reviewed here that specifically analyzes how the city (in a generic way) has been depicted on cinema over the years, in all its genres and as expression of specific feelings.
