The IEC complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016). In accordance with the GDPR, authors are informed that, by agreeing to the journal's publication regulations, they authorize publication of their personal data (name and surname, contact details and affiliation data) in the corresponding TSC issue.
The personal data of authors will be incorporated in a database, responsibility of the IEC, for the purposes of managing TSC. Author data will only be used to manage publication of TSC and will not be transferred to third parties or to third countries or international organizations. Once TSC issues are published, the corresponding author data will be retained as part of the historical record. Authors may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation of treatment and portability by notifying the IEC, specifying the publication referred to, at Carrer del Carme 47, 08001 Barcelona, or by email at dades.personals@iec.cat.
