The implantation of standardized lexicon: a complementary study of non-standardized implanted lexical units

Abstract

Firstly, this article offers a review of the state-of-the-art research on the implantation of standardized lexicon, which leads to the conclusion that studies on this topic have yet to be carried out. Secondly, working on the basis that the Observatori de Neologia proves to be an optimum resource to study this topic, a complementary vision is presented through the analysis of non-standardized implanted lexical units, both in written and oral language and taking into account the different dialects. Finally, the study ends with a detailed analysis of the transgression of the language rules observed in the variant neological units (orthographic, morphological, lexical, syntactic or semantic).
