Abstract

Acquisition and development of mathematical competence. Current curricula are based on eight key skills that all pupils must acquire. Key skills allow us to act effectively and the acquisition of all eight should give pupils the competence to critically and constructively interpret the reality that surrounds them. In particular, mathematical competence should enable them to produce more information to solve everyday problems and make decisions.
