Abstract

Herminio Almendros, school inspector and renovator pedagogist in Catalunya on the Second Republic of Spain period, must make up so more forgotten personality, silenced during dictatorship years. This paper is added to different publications in recent years since 1998, centenary of his birthday. Especially performed to inspection of education professionals Begins from higher advanced formation received by Almendros in Institución Libre de Enseñanza and how developed school inspection close to teachers, any corrective and many adviser. They are presented their dimensions on culture broadcast, of university teacher and of major on education service administration. Finally its presented a resume of his concepts of school inspection and the value of his proposals on present.
