Abstract

Ripollès region. In a certain sense, it may be said that between black and white there are 12 shades of gray. In telling this story we do so from the symbolism of a coin, which with its two sides helps us to show what happened and how we experienced it, from the perspective of other narrators. Ripoll is a town with a little more than 10,500 inhabitants. It is located in the province of Girona and it is the capital of the Ripollès region. In this town of the Pre-Pyrenees range, on August 17, 2017 an emotional earthquake took place when a group of young people who had been raised and educated in Ripoll carried out a terrorist attack. This situation forced us to reconsider structures that had seemed solid until then and this paper describes the needs, shortcomings and opportunities generated by 17A among the youth promotion technicians in our region.
