Abstract

In this paper we present an experience developed in a training classroom at the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona. This experience originates in the research that we have been carrying out with elementary school teachers with whom we explore skills and forms of knowledge which are essential for teacher training. In order to bridge the transition from research in the school to teacher training, we found that we needed to design creative paths which have led us to rethink the basic premises of the way we think and do things as teachers. Likewise, the presence of our students calls out to us and invites us to think of other ways of understanding the training provided in the university classroom.
