Abstract In this paper we propose a research in relation to the importance of play as a necessary space of creation in educational settings, emphasizing the potential of imagination and creativity in children as essential tools within the school. The research focuses on the concept of play as a creation space, and analyzes different learning experiences that become significant through creative strategies. We analyze the experience at the Encants school, in Barcelona, where the teachers works with creative learning to allow children to become people capable of achieving their full potential. Through observation sessions, interviews and dialogues with school children and teachers, we have collected data that we have interpreted through written language, and at the same time with artistic strategies, creating a visual narrative that helps to make these learning processes visible through the play at school. Keywords: Learning, childhood, play, creativity, visual narrative, drawing, school.
