Abstract

The possible effectiveness in improving argumentative skills in adolescent students in everyday situations by teaching them to build counterexamples or to work on informal argumentative schemes is highlighted. We illustrate the proposal with several examples. These contents fit better to educational goals and are more in accordance with the contributions of informal logic, pragmadialectics and cognitive psychology from the middle of the twentieth century onwards.
