Abstract

This article condenses Klein’s insights on one of the central questions the author addresses in his commentary on Plato’s dialogue Meno, that is, the derangement of Meno’s memory that renders him incapable not only of actually being knowledgeable, but also, and most importantly, of even starting the quest for knowledge.
