Discapacidad, accesibilidad y espacio excluyente : una perspectiva desde la Geografía Social Urbana Authors Ana Olivera Poll Abstract The growing number of people with disabilities creates the need for new adjustment of urban design in order to reduce the barriers of public spaces, avoiding non-inclusive environments, and fostering those that are fully accessible and also reduce inequalities and socio-spatial injustice. This text exposes the state of affairs of urban barriers and the present legal rules in Spain at different administrative levels and the norms about accessibility in urban planning. Several areas of research and participation are proposed based on geographical perspectives. Downloads Download data is not yet available.
