L'Espiral de la història, de Televisió de Girona

Abstract

The study of a local Catalan television stations experience in creating a history program is highly interesting since such a program offers content on the most immediate surroundings of an audience that does not have easy audiovisual access to its history. All the principles of using images as a means of knowledge and culture transfer converged in the Girona television project of creating the program Lespiral de la història (The spiral of history). The program is a model in combining diverse documentary types for one objective: providing education on the history of the city of Girona through audiovisual language.
