El Destí de l'educació civicomoral o l'enginyeria psicosocioeducativa (una reflexió filosoficopersonalista sobre la praxi educativa) Authors Albert Llorca i Arimany Abstract The article seeks to provide food for thought on the prominent role afforded to education in recent times, which does not mean and this is also part of the thesis of the article that such exposure translates into real positive changes. The author makes a critical appraisal of the so-called education in values, so widespread in school settings, and which is presented as a kind of instrument for effective social transformation. This leads us to a personalistic analysis of the role of education in the human being, beyond looking treating it as an adapting social mechanism. This approach means asking questions on the educational validity of the pedagogical purposes and styles in the current educational system. The proposal offered here emphasises the formula educating means wakening up the person, which is to be found in all students, and not facilitate psychologising accommodation, particularly when we talk about civic and moral education.
