Abstract The network of innovative secondary schools affiliated with the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) was created in 2007 with the aim of providing a space for inter-cooperative reflection and discussion. Since the discussion of globalized methodologies was still set within a theoretical framework at that time, the will of the pedagogical leaders of the four educational projects was to pool their thoughts on this subject, sharing objectives and resources, unifying efforts and capabilities, and associating actions. Overall, for each of the network’s participant secondary schools, this meant another way of educating, based on the self-education of a stable group of schools with a will for innovation as well as a possibility of coordinating innovation, experimentation and training. Ten years later, from the Montgròs Secondary School, we look back on our history, our identifying features and the work carried out, providing a detailed view of the evolution of the educational project of one the schools which has formed part of the network from the very beginning. Keywords: Networking, innovation, globalization of knowledge, cooperation, social inclusion, personalized learning.
