Focus and Scope

The Revista Catalana de Pedagogia (RCP) is a six-monthly publication (May and November) of the Societat Catalana de Pedagogia, a subsidiary of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. It was born in 2002 and since 2021 the University of Barcelona has been its co-editor. It used to be published in two formats, with ISSN 2013-9594 in the electronic edition and ISSN 1695-5641 in the printed edition. Since 2015, it has adopted the digital edition system of the Open Journal System (OJS) of open source and free use. The RCP was born in 2002 with an annual frequency, and since 2017 two volumes are published in a year.
 
The Revista Catalana de Pedagogia has as its preferred objectives to become a quality platform for the dissemination of research and educational experiences in the field of the Catalan language, and to promote the discussion and educational reflection that professionals and researchers contribute to. It focuses on any of the different aspects of pedagogical knowledge. It is aimed at all those people, education professionals from any field and researchers who have an interest in current thinking, practice, and educational research in the Catalan area.
