Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the content of the Pelegrí Casades’eading notes concerning three works related to the Old Testament: the Bíblia de Montserrat, the translation of the Bible funded by the Fundació Bíblica Catalana, and the volumes on the Bible by Louis-Claude Fillion. These notes occupy a total of three hundred and ninety-nine manuscript quartiles, and contain a summary of said works, as well as numerous comments by Casades. Those comments allow us to analyze some of the essential trends of his thought, such as Catholic conservatism, authoritarianism and anti-Semitism,
among others.
