Abstract

The aim of this paper is to reconstruct the years of academic training carried out by Joaquim Miret i Sans (1869-1882), relating them to his later historiographical work. By studying his correspondence (Biblioteca Nacional de Catalunya) and his academic files kept at the Arxiu Històric of the Universitat de Barcelona and the Archivo Histórico Nacional, we have attempted to provide new data on one of the littlest known stages of his life.
