Elements of a (Possible) Sophistic Logic

Abstract

The relevance of sophistic thought to contemporary issues is beyond doubt. Some scholars have made contributions to our understanding of the cultural contexts in which the Sophists lived and worked, including an exposition of general principles that defined their argumentative strategies and practices. Our aim is to examine these strategies and practices to select some elements of a (possible) sophistic logic.
