Abstract

In this paper we characterize briefly the notion of a logically valid argument and we present classical propositional logic and some non-classical logics. Then we consider whether there is a unique correct logic (monism) or there is more than one (pluralism) and discuss several versions of the monism-pluralism debate.

Key words: logical pluralism, logical monism, non-classical logics, relativism, universalism.
