Abstract

Traditionally it has been maintained that there are virtually no polyhedra to be found in Gaudis work. But a glance at certain points of the Nativity facade of the Sagrada Familia hints at the existence of different types of polyhedra. Specifically, stellated polyhedra that represent starswith different meanings. The variety of stellated polyhedra found provides a framework for further investigation into some of their characteristics, and a new context with which to study them in the classroom.
