L'Adquisició de competències matemàtiques d'alumnes de primària en contextos de jocs de taula i resolució de problemes

Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical and methodological reflection about one way to understand learning and teaching mathematics, based on a competence approach. From this perspective, we have been designing and implementing didactic sequences, validated in primary classrooms in Europe and Latin America, seeking both the development of mathematical competencemathematical knowledge, the processes associated with mathematical activity, and the learning context and the development of other skills, such as the argumentative ability and personal autonomy. Our proposal aims to be a small contribution to this great challenge, showing that it is possible to develop mathematical skills in a context with an educational game. In particular, we focus on the development of strategies for problem solving and mental calculation techniques and, in general, the development of fractional number sense.
