Joies matemàtiques Authors Armengol Gasull i Embid Abstract A collection of simple and beautiful proofs that could be described as small´or great´ mathematical gems; not forgetting the subjectivity implicit in the terms «simple» and «beautiful». Aimed primarily at mathematics enthusiasts, this article presents 20 proofs encompassing prime numbers, the numbersπ and e, geometry, polynomials and series.
