Per un canal Segarra-Garrigues per al segle XXI : convertir un projecte hidràulic en un projecte territorial Authors Ignasi Aldomà i Buixadé Abstract The Segarra-Garrigues canal is at this moment the second most important public infrastructure project and at the same time a great transformative force for the over 70000 ha of irrigation in the area of Lleida. However, the new canal presents big challenges that will mean new approaches and solution. The Vallbona manifesto recommends a new type of canal that respond the real needs for territorial development and the new approaches of water use culture.
