About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Treballs de la Societat Catalana de Geografia is an academic journal of all topics of geographic interest and is governed by the external anonymous evaluation system. Its objectives are the dissemination of the scientific approach proper to geography, the awareness of society regarding the various territorial, social and environmental problems, as well as the enrichment of the Catalan scientific background in the field of the various geographical disciplines.
 
Treballs de la Societat Catalana de Geografia is edited by the Societat Catalana de Geografia (SCG) –subsidiary of Institut d’Estudis Catalans (IEC)- since 1984 and nowadays it has a biannual periodicity. It is edited simultaneously in traditional and electronic format. Publish unpublished texts resulting from the research of people interested in geography, as well as conferences and other events held in the Societat Catalana de Geografia.
 
Treballs de la Societat Catalana de Geografia is subject to evaluation as a scientific journal in:

As an online magazine, people is authorized to reproduce, distribute and freely communicate the work as long as the authorship and the publishing entity is recognized (SCG / IEC) and no commercial use or derivative work is used.
