Abstract

The administrative government organization is one of the main subjects of the Catalan School of Geography. From a very personal review of the geohistory of the territorial structures of Catalonia, and the administrative levels and of the territorial identities, it is attempted to show the impossibility about arriving at an administrative government organization that satisfies everybody.
