Un nou mapa supramunicipal: els Governs territorials de salut

Abstract

The health administration in Catalonia at the local level is structured in Basic Health Areas. This new structure generates a new supramunicipal map, with its health sectors and regions. The Territorial Governments of Health further reinforce the decentralized geographic structure and creates a new meeting point among local and health administrations. The new map contains a series of differences with the municipal and local maps similar to others observed in other functional maps which makes us think on the need of a broad revision of all of them.
